Join APALI's Civic Leadership Program which is recruiting 25 participants to expand the civic leadership pipeline for Asian Americans, Latino Americans, and underrepresented groups in Silicon Valley/Bay Area.

Thursdays, 5:15 dinner, 6:00 program
unique 12-week annual program for veteran and emerging civic leaders from January to March
bringing together 25+ veteran and emerging civic leaders annually. The goal is to build a civic network and develop a public/non-profit leadership pipeline for Asian Americans, Latino Americans, and under-represented groups. CLP seeks to nurture socially-conscious, bridge-building, and effective civic leaders at three levels:
1. Individual: Developing personal vision and cultivation
2. Interpersonal: Building network and relationships
3. Institutional: Exercising leadership and stewardship
Nominations and application occur during Fall. Each CLP class meets from January to March on Thursday evenings at De Anza College, with light dinner before each meeting.
With annual classes since 2007, CLP participants join a vibrant network with hundreds of alumni serving as elected officials, public commissioners, legislative/government staff, non-profit leaders, college educators, corporate community representatives, philanthropic officers, other professionals, and community volunteers.

The vision is to build a civic leadership pipe-line from under-represented groups, beginning with Asian American and Latino American communities which make up over 60 percent of the population in Silicon Valley.
